Summer concert on Aug 20

 The Phoenix Community Band, this season under the direction of Colleen Dailey, will perform a Summer Concert on Monday, Aug 20, at Henley Park, on the river in Phoenix at 6:30 p.m. In the event of foul weather, the concert will be held in the John C. Birdlebough (Phoenix) High School auditorium at 6:30 p.m. (The high school is located at the north end of the village of Phoenix on Route 57, Oswego Road.)

Among the selections to be played is a classic Bernstein piece, some show tunes, popular songs, a theme piece, a Leroy Anderson favorite (not “Sleigh Ride”!) as well as a movie soundtrack and marches. The PCB always mixes it up. 

As always, admission is free, but any donations are welcome.
