The American Red Cross is constantly working with a variety of individuals and groups to organize these local drives which continue to feed product supply to area hospitals and emergency responders, as well as those in more distant crisis areas of the world.
With the ongoing need for replenishing the blood supply, the Enterprise Fire Company No. 1 works with the Red Cross and local groups to organize and sponsor blood drive events on a regular basis.
Another opportunity for local residents to contribute to the ongoing need for blood will take place next week on Saturday, Feb 4 at the fire station, 457 Main St. Donors are welcome between the hours of 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the downstairs hall of the fire station. Appointments are encouraged but drop-ins are welcome.
The American Red Cross and Phoenix Enterprise Fire Department remind the community that ‘blood donation makes a lifesaving difference’ for those in need.
