Chicken barbecue

The Trinity United Methodist Church in Oswego will serve a barbecue chicken dinner on Saturday Aug.11 from noon until sold out.

Each chicken dinner includes a barbequed chicken half, buttery salt potatoes, baked beans, cabbage salad, rolls and butter, beverage and a dessert. Dinners are $8  for adults, $7  for senior citizens, $5 for children five-12. A barbecued half chicken a la carte is $5. Dinners will be served in the dining room or fixed to take out. People may call ahead to reserve a chicken dinner.

Trinity United Methodist Church is located at 45 E. Utica St.(corner of East Fourth at Utica streets) in Oswego. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the school supply giveaway later that month.
