AmeriCorps members will be running recreation program

AmeriCorps members Amanda Quaile and Joanna Hirsch will be running a recreation program at the Hannibal Town Hall Park and Pavilion.

A free breakfast and lunch will be provided to each child Monday- Friday. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m.-9:30a.m. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Following lunch on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays and Fridays there will be activities and games that encourage health and nutrition from 1-3 p.m.

The breakfast and lunch program is open to children up to the age of 18 and the recreation program is geared toward children in grades kindergarten-fourth and their parents who live in the Hannibal School district.

The program will be starting July 9,  and ending on Aug. 10.
