Annual Oswego Town Ice Cream Social to be held Tuesday, July 10

Oswego Town Ice Cream Social, which is always a highlight of the summer, will be held Tuesday, July 10 at 6 p.m. at the Oswego Town Park. The park is located next to the Town Hall on 22320 County Route 7.

The ice cream social is sponsored annually by the Oswego Town Historical Society and it is free to the public. This year the Shortslef Brothers of Sterling will provide bluegrass and gospel music for the event.

There will be plenty of ice cream and toppings for all. Bring own chairs and come out an enjoy the summer with good ice cream, good friends and good music. This is the last event of summer for the Oswego Town Historical Society which will next meet on Sept. 8 for a candlelight cemetery walk in Rural Cemetery. More on that event will be forthcoming.
