New Haven residents receive notice of ISO Ratings

The Town of New Haven has received notice that its ISO ratings, which many insurance companies use to calculate homeowners insurance rates, have been lowered in two categories. The lower the rating the better. The ISO rating for fire protection has been lowered for the whole town, with an even lower rating for areas with municipal water. The ISO rating for code enforcement has also been lowered. Homeowners in the town of New Haven are advised to contact their insurance carrier to enquire about the possibility of lower homeowners insurance rates as a result of the new ISO rates.
