Baum returns from Afghanistan

First Lieutenant Justin Baum recently returned from a year of deployment to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom 2010-2011.

While overseas, lieutenant Baum served as a military police platoon leader and police mentor for the Afghan National Police. For his excellent service overseas, lt. Baum received the Bronze Star Medal, the Army’s fourth highest achievement medal, and the Combat Action Badge.

Baum is a 2005 graduate of Oswego High School and a 2009 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology. He is the son of Jeff and Terry Baum of Oswego.
